Why I Am Every Woman. And You Are Too.

I want to share my thoughts on why I make the bold statement "I am every woman" and why I think you are too.

Before opening SexyPlus Clothing, a very special plus size clothing boutique in Mississauga, I worked for Wells Fargo for ten years. Sometimes I wanted to portray a polished corporate powerhouse look, to tackle the ever present male chauvinism I encountered in the corporate financial world. I would wear a sleek tailored suit with sexy underwear just to remind myself that I have the "power". That I'm "all that" on the surface and underneath. While at other times I wanted to portray a soft and feminine, somewhat vintage inspired look for a picnic date. And, for those of you who know me, sometimes I just want to wear something sensational and provocative to a reggae dance. Why? Because I'm every women. Because no one can put me in a box, or label me as this style or that. I wear many hats, and I believe this is the glory of being a Woman.

It's a joy being able to choose what to wear. It's liberating to express oneself through clothing and style. And this is the heartbeat of SexyPlus Clothing. From elegant cocktail and formal wear, to pretty summer dresses, to polished career looks, to scandalous club wear and evocative lingerie, I celebrate every woman inside every woman, and I hope to help you explore your many hats as well.

So here I am in the Scandal Dress, with what some call outrageous side cut outs. I wore it with nude shapewear and a matching lace panty OVER the shapewear to accentuate the illusion of only wearing a panty. After all, it's the suggestion that's sexy.
